Coconut Grove Beachfront Cottages is a small, intimate resort located directly on the ocean and a private, white sand beach.
Surrounded by mango trees and coconut palms, we have just three accommodations, thus assuring you a very private holiday. When we bought our slice of paradise we made a conscious decision to make sure we kept it just the way we would want it to be if we were here on vacation.
Banana Bure
This bure is located right down on the lower part of the property, closest to the beach. The cottage has windows all around, with views of the ocean from 3 sides.
From your king size bed you can see banana trees, hibiscus and watch the sunrise over the 1st island.
Mango Bure!
This is our newest bure, & from every window are views of the beach and the garden, with mango trees and butterfly orchids in abundance outside. Large windows allow the warm tropical breeze to carry the scent of flowers into your room. Just 30 steps & you are on the beach!.
Papaya Bure!
This light and airy bure is cooled by the trade winds that rustle through the papaya trees outside. It has a queen size bed, ceiling fan and a little fridge in the corner for your cold drinks. Its louvered windows provide beautiful views of the ocean and sunrise from your bed! Outside, on your verandah, there are heliconias and hibiscus everywhere, and down a few steps is the outdoor lava rock shower..
DINING !
Our restaurant is small and intimate, set on the front verandah of our island home and overlooking the ocean. It is a very special feeling that we want you to experience..
We lean towards fresh fish and seafood, organically grown vegetables and homemade pastas. We love to prepare curries and Fijian food as well, and we also import some of the finest beef New Zealand has to offer.
Massage!
Coconut Grove has a group of 4 fully trained massage therapists at our resort, here to pamper you during your stay.
Their training comes from the director of SS School of M & Natural Therapeutics. This woman has had 35 years of experience in private practice in Hawaii and California and has mastered a broad spectrum of massage techniques which she has taught her students here in Fiji . In this country there is an abundance of natural talent in massage and the healing arts that is passed down from the ancestors, so the professional training they receive simply enhances their natural gift..
ACTIVITIES !
With Taveuni Dive you will dive the legendary Rainbow Reef where beautiful colored fish swim in and out of the hard and soft corals. There are 20+ sites only 20 minutes away by boat. The Somosomo Strait (Fijian for "good water") has strong tidal currents which provide a constant flow of nutrients, idyllic for soft coral growth and fish life. Taveuni is world renowned among divers for this reason.
There are 3 boats allowing us to cater to a variety of group sizes.
All of the dives include weights, belts, tanks, fills, boat, guide and refreshments. Generally it is a 2-tank morning dive, returning for lunch, but the shop can do afternoon or night dives if desired.
This is a Gold Palm 5 Star IDC facility offering a full ranges of courses to suit all levels.
All of the dive staff are PADI qualified instructors, Assistant Instructors or Divemasters - there to maximize your safety and enjoyment..

MINIMUM STAY
A stay of 5 consecutive nights is required between 01 July - 10 July and 27 December 2012 - 04 January 2013
Child Policy !
All children up to 18 years of age (inclusive) stay for free and the roll away bed will be free of charge. Breakfast for children will reflect the following: 0 - 10 years - eat for free; 11 years and older - classified as adults.
Conditions & Cancellations !
Rates include all taxes and daily buffet breakfast.
Cancellations must be received by the resort 48 hours prior to arrival.
Failure to do so will result in a cancellation fee of 1 night's accommodation.
For bookings between 27 December 2012 - 04 January 2013, cancellations received within 30 days of arrival will result in a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of total reservation.
