Taveuni is know as the 'Garden Island of Fiji' located 7 kilometres off of Vanua Levu. It is well known for it's flora and fauna and is a popular destination for many travelers and tourists.
It has been claimed that the island of Taveuni is host to nearly all the bird species to be found in Fiji. In particular, Des Voeux Peak at dawn is the place to be if you are a keen birdwatcher. In particular, you may catch sight of the orange dove and the silktail, to be found nowhere else in the world.

Baby Sitting
Our Garden Island staff are happy to entertain and mind your children if you want to have a morning lie in or go for an afternoon dive. Please enquire at the Reception Desk.
Business Centre
An air-conditioned room is available for meetings, conferences with WIFI internet access, catering to your business needs. Printing and photocopying services are available as well.
Dining
The Drodrolagi restaurant features fine local and international cuisine with fresh local seafood, produce, meats and poultry. The daily menu offers at least one vegetarian entrée at each meal, but please let us know beforehand if you have special dietary requirements. The dining room is located on the ocean front side of the resort where soft breezes, beautiful views, and the sound of ocean waves add to the enjoyment of our gourmet meals prepared by the Garden Island Resort chefs. Traditional Fijian Lovo (feast) is featured regularly.
The resort gardens provide bananas, papayas, pineapples, passion fruit, coconuts, and a variety of citrus fruits seasonally ready for our guests. Afternoon tea and coffee are served with freshly baked goods.
Tagimoucia Bar
Our well stocked bar is open from midday until late, offering a wide range of soft drinks, alcoholic beverages and cocktails. If you like your drinks a certain way, just let our bar staff know and they'll make sure it's made how you like it.
Dive Centre
Our PADI 5 Star Dive Centre is located on the resort property and so you're only moments away from being in the water. Drop by and our trained and experienced dive staff will help you set everything up so you can explore the beautiful ocean depths. Our Dive Centre is open daily for scuba diving, snorkelling and kayaking.
Entertainment
The Garden Island band "Past Timers" performs nightly from 6.30pm -9 pm, and the Kava bowl is out until late! Join the Past Timers and staff for a taste of Fiji's ceremonial drink from the traditional Tanoa bowl.
Internet
There is an internet station available for guests and WIFI internet is available in the bar, pool and lounge area.
Soqulu Country Club
Our guests are welcome to enjoy the country club's beautiful coastal 9 hole golf course, clay and grass tennis courts, lawn bowls, restaurant and amazing outdoor wood oven pizzas.

Child Policy !
Children are welcome. Rates are quoted in Fiji dollars and include vat tax and Hotel Turnover Tax. Rates also include a welcome drink on arrival, Denarau shuttle, children's playground, nightly turn down service and daily room service.
Conditions & Cancellations !
Cancellation after 7 days prior to arrival – 1 night’s accommodation plus vat During peak season Christmas/New Year (24 December 2011 - 07 January 2012); Easter and school holidays (cancellations within 14 days of arrival – 2 night’s accommodation.
Cancellations within 48 hours of arrival and all no shows will be charged for a full stay plus vat and htt.
Guests that no show and check in after their scheduled arrival date, will be charged accommodation plus vat and htt for all nights the room was booked but not occupied.
Check in time - 14:00 hrs. Check out time - 10:00 hrs.
