Maravu Plantation Beach Resort & Spa is very pleased to announce an exciting new addition in the works at the Resort. We are currently constructing a new Bure that will be known simply as "The Treehouse". The Treehouse will be the finest and largest accommodation at Maravu.
Connected to the Resort via a 150-metre long wooden pathway, The Treehouse will be located on a prime piece of our rainforest property, high above the trees, attached to a large raintree, providing wonderful views and privacy and seclusion. It will feature lavish decks integrated with the raintree, and will have large open living spaces. There will be two full indoor bathrooms as well as an outdoor, open-air bathroom. On the deck will be a state of the art Jacuzzi pool in a private, Venetian-glass walled courtyard that can be opened to the seaside..
ACCOMMODATIONS !
Like all of Maravu's accommodations, The Treehouse will have air-conditioning (in both the bedroom and living room), as well as a CD stereo and a fully stocked mini-bar. The finest of linens, as well as spectacular palm wood furniture and original artwork help make The Treehouse a truly luxurious experience. Magnificent sea views will be enjoyed from all aspects of the bure, including the bathrooms, outdoor shower, and Jacuzzi pool. The bedroom and the living room can be completely separated, and since there is a second full bathroom attached to the living room, The Treehouse will easily accommodate up to four guests.
Sleep on a king-size bed covered by a white mosquito net canopy. Comfortable bathrooms are standard, as is the minibar. All Bure except the Planters Bures have air-conditioning.
In the Honeymoon Bures, Honeymoon Deluxe Suites and Oceanview Spa Villas, there is an outdoor shower in a secluded setting next to the private sun deck and a Jacuzzi.
Each bure is well-appointed, and beautifully decorated with Fijian artwork and paintings. And, wherever you look, flowers are spread out in their full bloom, liberally adorning your tropical home.
The bures are spaced apart on our 90 acre resort, so feel the privacy around you as you relax in the hammock on the verandah. And, lest you forget time, the gentle beat of the lali drum will remind you when delicious meals are ready for you to enjoy.
Planters Bures
Our two Planters Bures are in a Duplex Units. The rooms are completely separate with own entrance, verandah, bathroom and just one joining wall. The Duple unit has an interconnecting facility, which is ideal for a family with children having their own room. The maximum occupancy for each Bure is 3 adults or 2 adults with 2 children. The Planters Bures are air-conditioned and have Garden-view.
Deluxe Bures!
Three of our Bures are Deluxe Buresin Duplex Units. Each Bure has a private outdoor shower and Jacuzzi. This Bure type has both, an inside and an outside shower and in addition to the sun deck a covered verandah. The outdoor furniture consists of Mahogany pool beds, chairs and tables. The maximum occupancy for this Bure is 3 adults or 2 adults with 2 children. The Deluxe Bures are air-conditioned and have Garden-view.
Honeymoon Bures!
Our seven Honeymoon Bures all have a large outdoor river-rock courtyard, with an open-air shower and a Jacuzzi spa tub. The spacious Bure has a sitting area, a bedroom, and also a full indoor bathroom. The Honeymoon Bures feature fine furnishings such as palm tree wood furniture and 4-poster king-size bed. The sun deck and covered verandah also features comfortable furniture. Each Honeymoon Bure has partial ocean view. The maximum occupancy for the Bure is 2 adults..
Honeymoon Deluxe Suites!
With a large sitting room and expansive bedroom, the four Honeymoon Deluxe Suites are both elegant and relaxing. An open-air river rock courtyard boasts an outdoor shower and a Jacuzzi spa waterfall pool. The large living space and bedroom features very comfortable furniture, along with a spacious indoor bathroom. A large open sundeck, as well as a covered verandah, has very comfortable furniture. Three of the Suites have partial ocean view, while the fourth has beautiful garden views and is attached to a Deluxe Bure. The maximum occupancy for the suites is 2 adults. Stays in the Honeymoon Deluxe Suite receive our complimentary Honeymoon Package, which consists of a bottle of champagne, a fruit basket, a private excursion to romantic Honeymoon Island, a half-day trip to beautiful Bouma Waterfalls, and two Fijian sulus.
The rate for this category includes a Honeymoon Package: a bottle of champagne, fruit basket, Sulus (Fijian skirts), poolside/garden candlelight dinner, excursion to romantic Honeymoon Island and a half day trip to tropical Tavoro Waterfalls in Bouma National Heritage Park. .

DINING !
Each evening, enjoy the enchanting harmony of the Maravu Serenades as they play Fijian songs. Every week we have a Fijian meke, and lovo feast, so that you may enjoy watching traditional dances and taste delicious food which is cooked 'Fijian style' in an underground oven.
Maravu offers great meals for children, and your little ones can have dinner earlier than the adults. There is also a full-time babysitting service available. Fijians have a natural way with children and make wonderful, caring babysitters.
Have a candle light dinner alongside other guests laughing and conversing in the quiet open restaurant, or choose a spot by the pool, on the beach or in the garden to have a private moment with one another under the stars of the Southern skies. And look for the famous 'Southern Cross' formation which has guided travellers in times gone by.
ACTIVITIES !
Our staff of forty will know you by name and guide you into any activities such as horseback riding, snorkeling, mountain biking, tennis, golf, kayaking, deep-sea fishing, world-class diving and guided 4WD tours.
We offer several guided tours and nature walks where you can explore quaint plantation towns and rainforest trails such as Vidawa Forest Walk with its spectacular bird life. Discover hidden waterfalls where you can swim in the natural water basins such as Bouma or Kulanawai. Jungle trails lead to the volcano Lake Tagimaucia, while our 4WD Landcruiser will take you up to the 1200 metres high Des Voeux Peak.
If you are a diver, or want to become a diver, you will come across some of the world's most breathtaking underwater paradises at the Rainbow Reef and its famous Great White Wall. We offer afternoon and night dives, all PADI courses and you can rent top quality dive equipment.
If you feel like tennis or golf, let us arrange it for you at Soqulu's Golf & Tennis Club - there are four tennis courts and a picturesque nine hole course designed by Robert Trent-Jones. If you prefer something less energetic, maybe take a picnic to 'honeymoon island' or go on the resort's yacht for a romantic sunset cruise.
WEDDINGS !
Maravu Plantation Resort is the ideal location for a wedding. The ceremony can be held on the beach, in the gardens, by the pool or at the sunset viewing area with panoramic views of the ocean and outer islands. Maravu caters for a traditional Fijian wedding with full Fijian costume and Fijian magiti (feast) or a traditional European wedding with a simple or full mass. And if you like your ceremony takes place in the jungle beside a tropical waterfall or in an exotic village.
Maravu offers some of the most exotic wedding packages in the South Pacific. From a more simple 'Tropical Package' over a 'Jungle or Village Package' to a 'Deluxe Package', with all included what you dream about being a 'tropical and exotic wedding'. The non-plus-ultra is Maravu's 'Grand Fijian Deluxe Package', probably the most luxurious, but for sure the most exotic wedding package you can imagine. See yourself being brought on a bamboo raft across the deep blue ocean with purple corals and on a throne under palm trees and ferns to the place of your ceremony ... in the gardens of Maravu or beside a tropical waterfall. .

All rates include vat tax and Hotel Turnover Tax.
Rates are quoted in Fiji dollars and include buffet breakfast for 2 adults.
Cancellation Policy: If cancellations are effected within 14 days of scheduled arrival, a cancellation fee equal to one night's accommodation will be levied.
Cancellations within 48 hours of scheduled arrival and all no shows will be charged for the full stay.
Guests that no-show and check in after their scheduled arrival date will be charged accommodation for all nights the room was booked but not occupied.
